Saved by His Submissive Launch Party Giveaway #1

Today we are celebrating the release of the first book in a brand new series called The W.I.L.D. (Warriors Intense in Love & Domination) Boys of Special Forces Series

*Pops a bottle of champagne, watches the cork go flying*

Wooo-hoooooo! Well, hi everyone. Welcome, officially, to the LAUNCH PARTY for my new book: SAVED BY HIS SUBMISSIVE.

I'm going to let you in on a little secret. I feel a little nervous. I've never hosted a Launch Party before. How do you do one of these things? Is it like hosting a real party? Can I have too much to drink and then get up on the table and do a grinding she-girl version of "Magic Mike" with the lampshade on my head?

Well, if that's the case...then I'm going to invite you all in, and tell you to kick back, relax, grab a cocktail (since it's virtual, I have a totally full bar; name your poison; we have it) and then make sure you make the rounds of the tables for some yummy party eats. I've got sliders, quesadillas, bean dip, weenies in a crock pot, chicken satay, spanakopita, Chex Mix, M&M's...ummmm, have I forgotten anything yet?

Let me know what you want on the iPod, too. As you can see, right now I'm playing a little Trey Songz but feel to change it up if you want.

While we're all getting settled, allow me to take just a few minutes to tell you about SAVED BY HIS SUBMISSIVE.

Garrett and Sage's story is extremely special to me, for many reasons. As many of you know, it's my first self-published novel--which meant that while I was writing it, I made sure that each and every word I put on the paper was real, true, and the best I could create. But more than that, I felt I owed these two the benefit of my strongest efforts. To say the least, there is conflict in this book. Make that CONNNFLLICCTT. I have to confess that in some chapters, I just really felt for Sage! Garrett put her through the emotional ringer as they made their way to one another after a year of being apart due to a very tragic set of circumstances.

That's all I'm going to say about the plot! Hope it was enough of a teaser for you!

Now. About Garrett and Sage themselves...

Garrett Hawkins. Well...WOW. He's a man who looks like a golden god, and has a deep and passionate heart of gold to match. Beneath his rock-hard exterior is a man who is deeply loyal (to a fault), deeply passionate and his world's worst critic. His sense of responsibility and accountability for everyone--his Special Forces teammates, his best friend, his woman--make his one of the most irresistible heroes I've ever written. Sometimes the man REALLY gave me fits, but in the end, I ended up adoring him as much as Sage does!

And about Sage? She is a woman cut of much the same cloth, actually. Her fires burn deep, and her love for friends and family runs the same course. But above all, she's a damn fighter! She may be scrappy as hell about it at times, but she is definitely like a cute little puppy with a bone when she has her mind set on achieving something.

I am SO THRILLED that you are going to be meeting some of my awesome friends during the party today. There's going to be SO MUCH excitement around here! So make sure you eat plenty of cocktail weenies! I'm so giddy, I may need some dance partners up on the table!!

Make way for the Warriors Intense in Love & Domination—the W.I.L.D. Boys of Special Forces!

These eight soldiers signed up for the Alpha Squad in more ways than one. They fight for their country with every drop of passion in their bodies, and they fight for their women even harder: with every ounce of commitment in their soul.

Book One:
Saved by His Submissive

Garrett Hawkins is the most valuable asset to his Special Forces unit—because frankly, the guy doesn’t care if he lives or dies anymore. Since the love of his life, Sage Weston, was kidnapped and killed with her medical unit a year ago, Garrett has turned the shell of his soul into the impenetrable armor of a finely-tuned fighting machine. Being the first tapped for the unit’s craziest missions is just fine by him. The less time for memories, and the agony they carve into his soul, the better.
It’s a plan that works—until one night, deep in the jungles of Thailand, Garrett’s world is upended when memories become reality. The unit is called to rescue a group of kidnapped aid workers, only the head count on the retrieval is unexpectedly doubled. Sage and her teammate, believed dead, are very much alive. Only now that Sage is back in his arms, Garrett doesn’t know what to do. He has changed in dramatic and daunting ways, especially in the darker tastes of his passion. If he touches Sage again, he’ll want to claim her, restrain her…dominate her.
Is Sage’s love strong enough to let Garrett back in not only as her fiancé, but her Dominant? Can she trust that visiting the new shadows of his life will lead her to ecstasy and not ruin? Or can it be that Garrett’s discipline is exactly what her soul needs to find its way back to life—and love—once again?

Hi gang...Angel here again! Thought you might all like to see a little excerpt from the book today. This is a unique one. Here's a new character you get to meet. She's a bit interesting!!

Garrett swung fast glances up and down the narrow passageway alley in which they stood. At least that’s what he was calling it for the time being. Truthfully, “alley” would’ve been an upgrade. String a few lanterns and clothes lines between the roofs, add the scent of roast pig instead of impending summer rain, and one could give it another title: East Asian ambush zone. Some instincts were pounded into a guy’s brain cells forever, and his were currently on high alert.
He felt more normal when he caught Wyatt doing his own surreptitious recon. Z didn’t join them. These alleys had been the man’s childhood playground. Beyond that factor, his friend was clearly familiar with this specific address—though like its neighborhood, the word “address” was given a wide berth for definition here. Z reached for a spot behind the grimy door frame and pressed in. The hidden doorbell let off a series of bell chimes inside the building, making the place sound like a cathedral being readied for worshippers.

“Should I have worn a tie?” Garrett cracked.

Zeke let out a dark laugh. “Only if you want her to whip it off your neck, braid it into a whip then beg you to open her up with it.
Wyatt coughed. “This should be interesting.”
Two seconds later, a toned woman’s arm shoved open the door. Tattooed angels and demons danced their way up it, reaching for another piece of ink that took up the top of her shoulder, a diamond wrapped in thorny roses. Garrett’s gaze was distracted from the artwork by a face that was surrounded by a sleek mane of ebony hair, broken up by silver and lavender streaks. In spite of all the distractions, the woman’s face was striking. She used minimal makeup, which was a good thing. Her huge purple eyes, prominent bone structure and full mouth didn’t need much enhancement.

At the moment, that mouth curved up at Zeke in a grin that truly defined the cat about to eat the canary. The metaphor wasn’t tough to come by, considering the woman wore a skintight black outfit—and had Zeke responding with a very visual gulp.

“Well,” she finally murmured. “Ezekiel Gabriel Hayes. What’s an angel like you doing in my naughty corner of Hell?”

Before Garrett could let out half a snort of derision, Zeke horse-kicked backward. His heel caught Garrett’s shin with perfect precision.

Without skipping a beat, he lifted the woman’s knuckles to his lips and replied, “Luna honey, my halo got shot off before I busted my sixteenth birthday.”

He dropped her hand but determination didn’t just live in the woman’s gaze. Luna latched a finger into the V of Zeke’s shirt before he could step back. “What about my horns?”

Garrett joined Wyatt in stunned silence as the woman lifted an angular leg and wrapped it around Z’s waist. For a fleeting moment, Garrett wondered why this woman’s name never left his best friend’s lips, even after three years of their tight camaraderie. That was before he caught the terse lines of his friend’s face, along with the invisible screws that tightened along Z’s jaw. Slivers of understanding formed. Garrett had heard about Luna, though not by name. She was—how the hell did Z put it?—a “unique” sort of girl. A submissive with appetites that were beyond the edge coupled with a personality that didn’t have a proper off switch. Z had actually shuddered when talking about girls like her. Their refusal to call a safe word could land an unsuspecting Dom behind bars for abuse, assault and battery, maybe even murder.

Zeke grabbed Luna by the waist and pried her off. “I think it best we keep your horns safely tucked away, girl.”

She narrowed her eyes, flashing an energy out that really did seem a little demonic, before pivoting toward him and Wyatt. “Maybe your friends want to see them.”

“No.” Z tightened his hold on her waist to keep her in place. “They don’t.

Garrett held up his left hand. “Engaged.”

Wyatt copied the move. “Married.”

“Hell,” Luna spat.

    1. Ohhhh yeah. Let's pick the group. I'll do the first few. Channing Tatum, Manu Bennett, and Sean Lowe. (Since Chan's there, we'll have to get a piano. And Jamie Foxx. And since Sean's there, we need...ummm...well, Sean's there. That's enough.)

    2. MMM, good choices. My group, however, would be Chris Evans, Mark Wahlberg and Matthew McConaughey - all sans shirts. No props required ;)

  10. Tracyg...I'm SO with you on the Kahlua and cream. I also love Bailey's and Cream. I guess you could say I'm a big fan of...ummm...cream. *VERY wicked smirk.* Oh hell, it's Friday and I'm feeling very naughty. No telling what's going to come out of me today.

And Kathleen...you're very right. Luna is REALLY interesting. The funny thing is, I hadn't planned on her being that way. I knew I needed someone who was a friend to Z, and whom he'd known a while from the streets, to help them with a very important goal in the book. When I started writing the scene, she bloomed into something way more. I WILL say this: expect to see more of her in Zeke's book, which will be the next book in the series.

  14. Good morning everyone! Firstly, let me say, thank God it's Friday. I'm not sure I could take one more day of this week. And what an awesome way to start my day...with my girl...Angel Payne. I'm almost done with Saved by His Submissive and I'm loving every page. I even had to stop reading last night and go find my hubs to have him read a little spot. Let's just hope my guest bedroom gets the makeover I hinted at!
Also...I can NOT WAIT to see Z keep his promise to Luna. No offense to Rayna, but something about his words to her...well..surprise....lights me up.

Party favorites....hmmm....has to be great friends ....and then its anything goes, right? Oh and let's not forget some 7 layer dip, cuz I love that shit!

Happy Release Day Party gorgeous girl! You deserve the bestest of everything.

  19. Hi! Thanks for this chance, I stumbled on this title (visiting UTC) and it got my attention right away! I don't know anything about Angel Payne or the character: Sage and Garrett, but this book sounds awesome! Anyway, I'm thrilled to have a chance to read it with this giveaway!

    Party...

I love big party or something already set up in a club where I don't have to think about the drink and the music! Favorite drink would be Jack and Coke, but it's pretty hard on the system so I will usually go with sweet cocktails at first and when the party is really on, I'll go with the Jack! Snacks, I'll go with chips or pretzels! Men... if they are all like Garrett, I'M IN!

They live on a lake. *Big grin.* Yes...this is a series for sure...right now, it's slated at 8 books, 10 heroes (I know, the blurbs right now say 8 heroes...but a few of the guys kept whispering in my ear that they'd be interested in some menage action...soooo...when these guys talk, I have a tendency to listen! LOLLL!) For the second book, "Handcuffed By Her Hero," the adventures will be focused on Zeke Hayes and Rayna Chestain. :)

  28. Thank you for inviting us to your party. The food and drinks are fabulous. I don't normally drink alcohol but having a slight buzz while reading this book sounds like just the ticket to "enjoying" it more. I will take a rum and diet coke please.

BTW, I LOVE the cover!! Stories about the strength, courage and general badassness of special forces soldiers are my favorite books to read.
